Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about next yr's men and women roster?

The men are bringing in a transfer Oliver Sajous. I think he will likely play the 4. Nice to see a Top 100 player added to our roster as we really need 'em (to replace Barriga and Milan). Are there anymore signees for 2008?? I feel we are one Top 50 short of staying National Championship contender for the next couple years. (Believe we signed a Top 25 US player in the Jr class from Tx). If not, I hope Josh Zavala will make huge improvements to consistently play the 6 and the new transfer proves he is a top 50 potential player.

Anyone hear anything on the women's side? The roster needs some consistent Top 50 players besides Vanja. We only recruited Krista Damico who could possibly play the 6. Other than that, this recruiting class looks really week. Just one Top 50 US signee. I hope there are some international players that looking at us.

I am not sure who will be coming back and who will be taking a shot at playing on the tour in the fall, but you have to remember how much these teams can change b/t semesters. If some of our players go and have some success and do not come back in January, you can look for a couple of new faces for the spring semester. This is something that I do not like about college tennis, but it is the way it is.
Many teams get these players who have no intentions of graduating or even playing for the university for more than a semester of two, but want to give college tennis a shot before heading back out on the tour.
