You are a complete idiot that has lost touch with all reality if you can use the words "consistently excellent team" to describe the trainwreck you are coaching. There is absolutely NOTHING consistent about this team.

This is a surprising disappointing loss especially since the team was playing so well the last several games. This game will probably cost them an NCAA bid but still they did give us a full point in the State Farm Lone Star Showdown so they did contribute this year and should be good in the future.

I had season tickets for 25 years. There is an endowed scholarship in my name. I dropped my season tickets this year because I saw the writing on the wall and it was too much trouble to go to a game and watch what could have been a talented but poorly coached team play. A lot of things changed when GG took over. You used to be able to hear the coach and girls talk in the Burnt Orange room after the games, and felt like you kinda got to know the girls a bit. That all stopped, and my attachment to the team wasn't there. I went to one game this year, and won't go to another as long as GG is the coach. Judging from what I hear about attendance, I am not alone.

Attendance isn't necessarily a problem that Coach G created. I left Austin in 2000 and people weren't showing up in droves then even when Jody was the coach.

Seattle, the headline should read Texas Tech 81 Texas 59. Coach G didn't play. It was the Texas team you keep faking to be a fan of.

I'm not in denial. I was a season ticket holder up until 2000 when I left. If they hadn't shipped busloads of kids into the games, they would be lucky to fill the lower part of the FEC. People compare today's attendance to the "glory days" of the mid-80s.
