Sloppy 1st half by the Horns. Walker is playing pretty good filling in for Felix. Holmes needs to step it up, playing down to the competition. After making his first floater, TCU's doing a good job collapsing on Taylor when he tries to drive.

Glad we didn't play like this against KU or it would have been ugly.

Ok! This is exactly why Barnes has been questioned over and over again. Against TCU, weshould be opening it up and playing fast and up and down with better athletes. He wants to throw the ball around perimeter for 30 seconds. Unwatchable!!!!!

Man, I was holding my breath for so long in the second half. Great job, Jonathan Holmes for stepping up, and Cam Ridley for nailing those 4 consecutive free throws at the end. I hope they -- including Barnes -- have learned something from this ugly win.

Stepping back a bit, that was an awesome first half of conference play. 7-2, who would've thunk it?

I didn't watch the game but I consider this to be almost as significant a victory as the one over Kansas. The team is still young and went on the road against an unranked opponent and they could have lost because of eating too much cheese. They burped but they won.

I fear that they're starting to believe the hype. Need to get back to the one-game-at-a-time mentality before the weekend.

They played the 2nd half a lot better than the 1st. If I remember right they had around 10 turnovers in the 1st half and finished with 13. At one point early in the game, they were 4 of 10 from the FT line, Holmes was a big contributor, which is terrible but they finished hitting 69%. Credit TCU's defense for taking away Taylor's floater which hurt both Baylor and KU.

Trap game that the Horns gutted out a win in. So similar to KU at TCU last year. This team was due for a let down game and fortunately they still found a way to win.

Texas won the rebounding by 31. Woah. It's the 4th highest margin in team history. And it took nearly every one of them!

Hopefully Felix is ok and can play at Kansas St on Saturday.

Yeah, Jevan Felix is a huge part of this team. I think him and Taylor feed off of each other. But, I can't complain about the victory whatsoever. Kansas lost a very similar game last year.
