TEXAS still too much for AM...

TEXAS finishes #6 in the Directors Cup, while A&M finishes #13.

A&M's best athletic year to date still doesn't land them in the Top 10. A&M might contend for an NC in women's track for a while, but winning three NC's in one year was complete luck. I don't think they can improve on that, but I guess we'll have to see.

Tell ya what. You give me a dollar for every time TEXAS has had that trophy and I give you one each time the Aggies have had it. I think I will like it more. I still think it is useless and could give a flip about it whether we have it or not. We had to knock dust off of it last year.

Now, the second part of this game is that we then go out and poll random people around the country who are sports fans. We ask them what means more and which one people give a **** about.

You give me a dollar for those that say the Directors Cup and I give you one for the Texas Lone Star Trophy. I will like this game too!

For bonus bucks we then compare records for Football, Baseball and Basketball. Heck, we can make it for all sports over time with the same dollar per wager. As you work the rest of your life to pay off your new debt to me you can declare, No More Whammies!

What a fun game, this reality is, eh?

See, the not very often won regional trophy v. NATIONAL stature is no contest. It is so obvious that the Texas Longhorns are the universe, the end all be all for the lowly Texas Agriculture and Mechanical Aggies. It is not the other way around.

UT is a national powerhouse. Aggy is a sometimes regional nuisance that goes away in time.

The contest I will not have with you is probations and NCAA penalties. No way. I am not dumb. I am not aggy.

Ha, must not play poker, IM, check emails and try to cook at the same time as correcting aggy. Thanks for that, must go fix...not dinner.
