What an awful mistake that fortunately didn't have deadly consequences.

Since she didn't have a record of any kind th't something she does frequently.

I can only imagine the atmosphere of a legislative session.
BUT shame on her for driving and shame of any of the people she was with for letting her drive.

Well, one thing I know is that good people make bad decisions all the time. Hopefully this is a one-time thing and she has learned a lesson.

Horn6721, it would be nice if that was true, but it's probably a very infrequent thing when someone is arrested the first time they ever drove over the legal limit. Let's hope she has learned a lesson.

The only lesson to be learned here is that you can drive drunk, run into people, and get away with it.

She was arrested and jailed. She may be out now but she was charged .
She will more than likely be sued by the people in the Fiat and the women on the bike
and she could easily resign on her own or be forced to resign.

AB is right, she like most of us surely has driven when she shouldn't have before. she just got caught this time and thank goodness the injuries are not severe
Not sure what you think she got away with.

If this is her wake up call then it will be a cheap one compared to what could have happened.

I'm sure all the political consultants in El Paso have downloaded this mug shot for use in future campaign ads. If she's as political as most state reps, she is being and will continue to be punished. It's not an insurmountable object to her political future, but it is and will remain a complicating factor.
