Isn't that the guy that used to own the Somerville steakhouse that was basically legendary in the BCS area? As I remember the original one was in Somerville, and a bunch of my Aggie friends would talk about planning for days to drive out there and eat these massive chicken fried steaks. They split up into two restaurants, one of them in Snook, and I think this is that restaurant.
Anyway, been there once and it's definitely an experience. My chicken fried steak was bigger than the plate under it.
His wife took the Somerville restaurant in the divorce, so what does he do? Sets up shop 20 miles closer to BCS to cut her off from the students driving out for a cheap steak date. Brilliant.
Did you notice that he also had an ad for cigarettes on the back? Couple that with his argument that your "body knows what's healthy for it..." and this guy is a ticking time bomb of fryer grease and marlboro resin.
Watch, he will be one of those guys that live to 100. I doubt it but you know how this stuff goes. It defies logic sometimes. Maybe he can find a way to make lard bonbon's.
