If we odnt sign another recruit, how many do we take next year?

Slim, that takes an actuarial genius to figure out. Too early to tell. Depends on many things - today's signings, medical casualties that no longer will play, grade casualties, legal casualties, early exits to the pros, lack of playing time transfers, graduations, medical hardship scholarship extensions, available top shelf talent at need positions, end of days prediction accuracy and on and on.

All that being said, count up the current scholarships including today's signees minus 2011 seniors and compare that to the 85 limit then add a few for attrition and you will be close.
