Texas-OU Game Thread

Sam keeps proving that he doesn't belong in the pantheon of Texas QBs. Tries too hard to make plays happen instead of relying on strengths.
Ehlinger is not having a very good game, but supposing that every time the pocket has broken down immediately today Sam just threw the ball safely away, wouldn't we have about the same numbers and punts?

Sam needs a game off to get his **** together. Just sit him next game. This season is over anyways. Sam needs to come back for another year if he has any ideas of getting drafted. He's taken a step backwards.

Pretty typical OU game. They're the better team, and proving it by committing mistakes and not letting those mistakes define the game. Kind of like 2002 when Hybl threw like 9 picks and they still controlled the LOS on both sides of the ball and showed us how to win.

Sam under pressure within a second of the snap, buys us 5 more seconds, and nobody can get open. Sad.

He's missed a few passes, but the OL can't block for him and the running game has been impotent. Anybody short of an otherworldly talent like VY would struggle with those conditions. And even then. Remember the 04 OU game? Or Colt in 09 vs Nebraska.

He's doing better than the OL, RBs, or WRs are. He currently has 16 touchdowns and 1 turnover against Oklahoma yet is likely to end his career 1-4 against them. What a waste of a competitor thanks to our staff. If he played for Leach, or had been at Oklahoma these past few years, he'd be considered a top 10-20 first round pick.

Remember Herman's calling card was big games. That he'd get upset at times, but he'd bring it in games like Red River. Well so far - no he hasn't.

If this might be a bright spot to anyone, I'm in Colorado watching my daughter and she just blasted a line drive double off the left field wall that sparked a three run inning!

Something positive in this rather dank day? :whiteflag:

Ou back out toughs horn defense

game apparently over. The team in red seems to be still playing; not the other one
