He's getting better, but there's still a lot of fool's gold in those numbers. Pass protection has improved by leaps and bounds. Run blocking always seems to improve a lot when Sam and Keonte are in the backfield together, and without that combo, it slips back down to that sub-4.0 per-carry average. Run game still has work to do (interior linemen I'm looking in your general direction.)

it may be college football in general but when I see our qb running for his life a few times too often it makes me think that 1) our oline isn't that great; or b) big 12 olines aren't that great (if we're fourth)….
