I'd be interested to hear from a Tech fan about what's going on in Lubbock. Sort of surprised with what seems like a lack of progress.

wow, 4 Big 12 South teams in the Top 7 is just crazy. i know there are still 2 weeks before conference, so the rankings could change before it starts. but if you had asked me before the season where these teams would be ranked going into conference, i never would have predicted A&M #3, Texas #4, OU #5, and Baylor #7.

i've read posts before from ladylonghornfan on the Tennessee message board The Summitt. they didn't have great things to say about Texas on that board either, and even predicted Tenn would beat us 64-52!!?!! not sure why they aren't behind the great start Texas is having this year. but i know that i'm excited about it!!! and i'm glad to have other positive fans on this board who are excited about it as well!

I understand what you are saying TX/CO - but the fact remains that LadyLonghornFan posts around on other boards, and is not particularly complementary or supportive-sounding of the Texas women's BB team. That chaps me just more than just a little - but then to each his own. I just thought the poster who questioned about TT could read their message board about what TT fans think about their team. And I thought it appropriate to warn that LadyLonghornFan didnt' have too much positive to say about the team this year. It's not that I think LLF is NOT a Longhorn fan - I think, by the tone of many posts, she/he was a Jody Conradt fan and is not yet won over by the current coaching staff. Nothing wrong in that - but it always peeves me to see non-supportive posts about the team on other boards.

agree 100% with your post rexy. and txtoco, i certainly wasn't meaning to say they aren't a real fan. it sounds like they have been a longtime fan of Texas and Coach Conradt. but like rexy said, it just irritates me to read those kinds of posts on other boards....and of course they are entitled to their own opninon, but it will always bother me. probably because i'm a huge fan of this team, Coach Conradt and Coach G. so anytime someone says something negative i tend to get a little defensive!

I think we are giving that person too much attention. Let them say what they wish on other boards, or this one. I welcome all opinions.
