Here is, perhaps, the most important part:

Hicks said that his mother also enjoyed the visit. During the trip Hicks said that his mother tried to absorb as much information as possible.

“She had a lot of fun. She got a lot of information.” Hicks said. “She talked with the coaches and other parents. We got to meet the president of the university and his wife. We got fed a lot of information and she liked it a lot.”

Dec 12th is the first weekend school is out I believe. It sure beats him getting to take in a game.

That is also Heisman weekend so he won't get to meet his own personal Jesus. I think that him visiting that weekend could only help Texas unless he already has his mind set on Florida.

Pulling Hicks would be huge. He is a great player but that would be an even greater area to make some recruiting noise in to be in the hunt for guys out of there on a regular basis.

Hicks is going to be in Tuscaloosa for the Bama/Tenn game this weekend according to the Tuscaloosa News. And Ahmad Dixon is going to be there too.
