Texas/Kentucky discussions for a series

Calipari said in a news conference that Kentucky and Texas are in discussions to play a neutral-neutral series as early as 2010-11. Texas officials countered back that talks are in a very preliminary stage.

I meant to post the Louisville Courier-Journal link from a couple of days ago but forgot...

Calipari wants to upgrade the schedule and said they were talking about neutral-neutral between Louisville and Houston.

Home-and-home or neutral-neutral, I'm all for this. Kentucky should be on the upswing now that Calipari's running the show and working his usual recruiting "magic." Hell, the Wildcats will be tough to top this coming season.

And recruiting presence in Houston (and an opportunity for Calipari to schedule a marquee game in Louisville without the Cardinals being there--how ya like that, Mr. Pitino?)
