One of which, Daphane White, initially signed to play for Vic at Mississippi State.Jackson State has added two players who are 6’5” and 6’6” who were 5 star recruits out of high school.
Yep. I felt even before the injury to Moore that this game was going to be tough. The only positive to the Moore injury is that UT has good depth at the position. And that Gaston has experience and has shown that she can be productive when she's not injured. Without Moore, Jones, and including the emotions, I think that Jackson St. will win. This is going to be a tough game for us especially emotionally.
It was competitive last year.
I have a feeling kurupt is right this time.
I think Hadi is capable. Hopefully the last game gave her some confidence that she can carry forward.I'm interested to see it play out, but we lost a LOT of physicality with Taylor and AMo's injury. The freshman forwards just don't have their strength yet.
I think we are going to need Hadi Faye to have a breakout performance to win this one.
I think Hadi is more than capable, after all she showed it against us two years in a row.I think Hadi is capable. Hopefully the last game gave her some confidence that she can carry forward.
Agree. When I said we needed a "breakout" performance, I was referring only to her results so far this year. If she plays FOR us the way she played against us, it will go a long way towards a favorable result.I think Hadi is more than capable, after all she showed it against us two years in a row.
We are doing it because Vic was so impressed by the way their coach and team performed in Austin last year. If you recall, he made a point to visit their locker room after the game to praise and encourage them.I'm surprised we're playing at a place like JS. T
Thanks for the info. I think I’m going to go the radio broadcast route for this one.It looks like JSU has a streaming service. If you go to the WBB schedule it has a "watch" button and it takes you to the JSU streaming site. Looks like there might be a PPV for $20.
Remember it's an early game tomorrow midday.Agree. When I said we needed a "breakout" performance, I was referring only to her results so far this year. If she plays FOR us the way she played against us, it will go a long way towards a favorable result.

Agreed... as long as we don't beat ourselves. We will win.
There were storms across the Southeast yesterday, perhaps that had something to do with the leak. I also think it's positive significance that we are playing a HBCU on the road, and I hope this will be a home-and-home that will continue for years to come. JSU plays a really good schedule so it doesn't really impact us negatively. Thanks Racer for the update. This is kinda ridiculous. Where did they have us playing - some barn somewhere? I get that Vic wanted to go there out of respect for the opposing coach, but a TexasWBB game not even being televised? I think this should be the last time we do this.
We will win.
