KERA (Channel 13) in D/FW is premiering another installment of their Nowhere But Texas series tonight at 7:00.
The show will feature three segments, all of which sound interesting - but the last one in particular may be of interest to those with a love of Texas HSFB history:
- The "Big D Jamboree" at the Sportatorium (Johnny Cash, Elvis, etc.)
- WASP (women pilots) group from Sweetwater that flew during WWII
- FW Masonic Home "Mighty Mites" HS football team's long winning streak
