This is a Texas history related trivia question.

I will give a cookie to anybody who can identify these two pieces of furniture, to whom they belonged, and where they are located.

that'd be my guess. there is a picture of what appears to be the back side of his statue, but why would the back of his head be blurred out. and his two favorite sodas are next to the desk.

Pure guess. Is it LBJ's old home outside Johnson City?

The lady in the picture is dressed in too modern a fashion to be Sam Houston's

Okay, I'll tell you.

That is Stephen F. Austin's writing desk and his chair. They are located in San Felipe, west of Sealy, in the little museum there.

Anybody can go and they will let you sit in Stephen F. Austin's actual chair. I did, and got my photograph taken in it.

It was a pretty transcendent experience.

East of Sealy. I used to live in San Felipe and went to the church for years just across from the parks.

**** me. I have been there and was going to guess that. Why do I have to be a smart *** all the time?

Hey now ... after I said that these belonged to a major historical figure, just about anybody could have guessed Stephen F. Austin.

Besides, I CLEARLY said that the winner would have to tell me what they are and where they are located.

Seriously, Steel Shank.... if you want a cookie, PM me and I will send you one.

I was just trying to get the BBS psyched up for Texas FREAKIN' Independence day.

And you have to admit that these two items are pretty cool.
