Huge game for 1st place in Big12. We go to Lawrence and take the top spot in their own backyard, hand the Jayhawks their first defeat, and we put the nation on notice for March.

Unfortunately I don't think we have the closers to beat them at their house. We lost the Pitt game, and the UConn game with awful turnovers, and shot selection down the stretch. Really do hope I'm though. Would love for them to go put a whoopin on the Kansas.

Just the free throw shooting seperates these teams and if they ever played a close game this gives Kansas a huge advantage IMO.

We have missed a lot of open, uncontested shots all season. Can't do that against a team like Kansas because they will make you pay. The refs didn't have the best first half either but they aren't the reason we missed those open shots.

Self v Barnes is a mismatch

I like Texas though because they can play very good defense at times, if they get hot they can get back in this game. They have to stop turning it over. At a mutual court or in Austin I think Texas can beat them.

Horns making a nice run here have cut lead to 5. Hard to beat KU in Lawrence but they are giving themselves a chance after an atrocious start.

Texas has hit their free throws today and they hit them against Aggies at over 80 percent, they can win this game if they get hot, KU has some guys in foul trouble, Horns only down by 5.

KU has cooled off too which has enabled the Horns to make this run. Down 4 now with 12 minutes to play. Still have to give edge to Kansas but Horns have a shot.

I keep replaying my DVR and can't figure out what the refs are watching. They are missing the ones they call and missing the ones they don't call. Go figure

I would be surprised if this Texas team does not make it to at least the Sweet 16, they have played well against the tough teams like Pitt and Conn, Illinois and Mich. State. Texas is ready for tournament time IMO.
