call this blashphamy, but I had a bowl of the Hot, Hot, Hot yesterday and it WAS spicy, but that was pretty much all the taste it had. I was really dissapointed. I could have sworn that it tasted a lot better some time ago. Was it just a bad batch? Am I crazy?

your first mistake was ordering food there, its not good. the purpose of the chili parlour is to get hammered. order magnums, many of them, over and over, this will make their food edible.

I second the enchiladas. With the medium chili over top. Great stuff.

Big fan of Chili Parlor. You'll find better chili, but nonetheless, it's good stuff.

When I go there I usually get them to mix 1 scoop of XX with a scoop of XXX. Seems to be the best mix. If you just get the XXX it is simply nothing but hot. The queso with a scoop of chili there is very good stuff.

I actually thought about that, but then I realized I was in a resturant and they should be able to make decent chili without me having to mix it. I'll try something else next time I go. I just have a difficult time with bland, but really spicy chili. It just doesn't make any sense.

XX chili dog and potato salad - man that's good stuff!

Chicken sandwich is also pretty good.
