Watching the game last night they mentioned that this was the 1st time Texas has started conference play 8-0 and won all games by double digits.
Well, after beatin OU last night, Texas is 9-0 and has beaten all 9 teams by double digits. Margin of victory for those 9 wins is an eye popping 17.9 points/game!!
Included in those 9 wins are wins against:
#2 Kansas (on the road ending their 69 game home court winning streak)
#19 Missouri
#22 A&M (twice, at home and on the road)
Does anybody know if Texas has ever started Big 12 play as well as this before? Or if Texas has ever run the table in the Big 12 before?
I am trying to hold my expectations in check this year, b/c we have played a few ranked OOC teams and they have been close games:
Lost to #4 Pitt by 2
Lost to #10 UConn by 1
Beat #20 North Carolina by 2
