Texas at Oklahoma State

Myles Turner has hit three 3 point shots so far. Felix and Lammert also have each hit a 3. I guess the 3 point offensive is better than whatever that was against OU monday. Would like to see Ridley do more inside.

Also, very poor officiating. Not really one way or the other, just poor overall. One of our players passed the ball to himself and then made a layup.... pretty sure you cannot do that.

28-28 at halftime

Holmes is 0-7 with 0 points. Taylor is 0-6 with 4 points from FTs. The fact that this game is tied may say more about Oklahoma state.

I used to think that 40 percent was a poor shooting game. My, how far things have come (or fallen) in the last 20 years. AAU has ruined this game.

This team looks lost.

Horns are not a good team right now. If they don't turn it around in a hurry going to be looking at a 6-8 place in conference.

It's kind of getting to the point in the 2007 season when we needed to somehow distribute the ball through Durant every single possession. Turner needs to take over that role and hopefully entertain the idea of getting other players some space to shoot. Holmes has been god-awful, and he's supposed to be the leader. Taylor is forcing the issue every time down the floor. Felix is too streaky. Our bigs are basically nonexistent when our opponent can body up Ridley.

We lost to a team that was physically inferior, but for all our length, we had no inside game. Just the occasional put back on a missed shot.

Holmes was guarded by a smaller player, but not one time did we post him up inside. Holmes just seems to have no passion right now, which a team leader and senior should have.

A team with this size and we have to hope that somebody is hot from the three point line like a seven footer in Turner. Without his four treys we get blown out. Lammert couldn't stay in the game because of his defensive liability.

Taylor is still hurting and it shows, it would have probably been better to have let him heal completely before coming back.

This team is hard to watch play offense and with no post game inside, it's gets even harder.

The team is playing uninspired....going through the motions. If they had any toughness at all they would have come out with a fire after the OU debacle, but instead they looked flat. Barnes has lost this team and needs to do something fast to lead them to a better place mentally.

This seems to happen to our BB teams yearly. Start fast, win some big games, then a surprising downturn with poor shooting (poor offense generally) as the culprit.

I think the guys are trying hard, playing hard. But they are equipped with an offensive approach that leaves them outmanned in many games.

Doesn't this happen to Barnes' teams almost every year?

They look a mess. And like they don't care.
They played better without I.Taylor.
But even then, I could see the poor play coming.

They look like a different team than the one I saw the first 10 games or so. They seemed to regress after UK game...
