Projected Starting Lineups:
[pre]
Texas A&M
Kat (6-2) Elonu (6-1)
Ashley (6-4) Adams (6-1)
Ashleigh (5-8) Carter (5-6)
Chassidy (5-10) White (6-0)
Yvonne (5-7) Colson (5-8)
[/pre]
Kat will likely match up with Elonu at the start. Elonu has quick hands and finds open teammates well. Elonu will have to guard Kat out on the perimeter while Kat will be more concerned with Elonu’s inside game. Adams versus Ashley will be a key to the game. Adams can shoot from BTA and has an outstanding inside game. With A&M’s guards able to penetrate well, if Adams goes outside, one has to wonder if Kat will switch defensively with Ashley if possible. White will be the tough matchup for the Texas guards. Whoever matchups with her will need to be aware of her ability to score from BTA and inside. Colson does not put up big scoring numbers but only because she is busy setting others up. She is capable of scoring big numbers if left alone or by penetration.

Texas will have to handle the pressure that the Aggie guards will use. They have been successful in forcing TOs by the bunches when facing the Horns. This has led to easy shots while Texas has worked to get shots off. If the Horns can break through the pressure, they will have their shot at getting open shots. Winning the rebounding battle will help to offset TOs forced by the Aggies. Ashley will need to be careful to stay out of foul trouble as Adams is adept at getting her shot off against taller opponents.
