Trying to keep with the positive theme, what do we know about the Aggies besides the obvious.

I haven't watched them this year but have read about the games and players. Sounds like they have decent guard play, can't win on the road and we might be able to exploit them down low.

Comments from the experts and how we are going to take them behind the woodshed on Saturday?

When was the last time they beat us in Austin?

I know my aggy cousin called me last night and kept going on and on about how Bernard King lives next door to him and how awesome it was that he could take all his aggy stuff next door and get it signed.

I asked him if he got King to sign any of his Final Four shirts. Silence....
Then, change of subject.

Other than that, I don't have anything on aggy.

We played them a couple of weeks back and they weren't overly impressive. The guard play was not good.

Elanu appears to be much improved (at least he was in that game and the following contest against Baylor), and Davis appears to be about the same. Josh Carter got shut out by Terrel Harris, so that was a major factor. I assume Mason will draw Carter, but who knows.

Other than Carter, their outside shooting isn't anything worth mentioning. They battle your *** on the boards, and they defend fairly well. We were able to frustrate them with defensive pressure and forced quite a few turnovers. They didn't get much run in the half court game because it took them 20 seconds to initiate the offense.

You guys should win by 15+ in Austin. They're terrible on the road.

He played that way against Baylor as well. I've always been kind of intrigued by him, and he appears to be much improved. I'm not going to say he's definitely going to be a 20 and 10 guy like he was that day, but he's a threat down low. Pittman will probably draw him to start. Dex needs to stay out of foul trouble.

just win
