Gary Blair took responsibility for the gaffe by saying her should have reminded everyone not to foul if the score was tied. And the player who fouled was a freshman

It was just a brainfreeze. Things just moved so fast. Sh'lonte Allen is a senior I believe unless she redshirted last season. Was a highly-regarded guard out of TVC a couple of seasons ago.

Out of curiosity, why did the clock stop after the made basket, there was no foul and the clock stopped until after the inbounds play.

The clock stops during the last minute of the second half plus overtime periods in college after a made basket, and starts again once a player touches the ball following the ensuing throw-in.
