Texas #5 USA/ESPN

I wonder if we jump UCLA if we win k-state and tech
after all we beat them in heads up, but that doesn't seem to mean much to the voters

Yes, and Wisconsin beat us here without their leading scorer, and yet we're rated above them.

It's all just nuts, isn't it?

Some people think
All that matters is
Routing the team that is being
Considered
Alongside the
Squad whose
Merits are being discussed.

Obviously not. But if we do happen to lose a hard-fought game tonight and then continue to play well through the end of the regular season while bringing home a conference championship, it might not be the end of the world.

I don't think "tanking" a game is needed. If KU wins out and wins the tourney like they do every stinkin' year, I bet they get the #1 over Texas.

While Houston and Rice are C-USA schools, why should the city be the automatic destination for Memphis, since it is nearly equidistant to Charlotte and Houston and Detroit is less than 200 miles farther away?

Knoxville is way closer to Charlotte than any of the other regional sites, and it's a lot closer to Detroit than to Houston.

Get rid of the ACC from the #1 seeds, and everyone else can be accomodated fairly well. Go BC. Go NC State. Go Ga. Tech. Go Free Shoes U.

A second round game against Arkansas in Little Rock is not worth getting to play in Houston in my opinion, if that is what transpires.

At 52 years of age (me), I never thought I'd see the day that a 4-loss Texas would be ranked ahead of a 3-loss Dook and 3-loss RockChalk.

Barnes Court at the Erwin Center.

One day.

Hook 'em

It was a day to remember
The horns were ranked 5th
A #1 seed was up for grabs
The season is long
And we have much left to go
A #2 would be fine.
