I already have. FAU has been hit by the injury bug. I am suprised that the line isn't increasing. Starting TE and center are out. One OG is very questionable. starting DE is out and one DT lost to academics.
How do you miss making your grades at that place? He must have flunked surfing last spring.
I don't really have an issue with what the "ESPN nobody" said. I'd say he makes a pretty good argument. The injuries are going to hurt their chances, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if FAU covers. They're still a solid team, and I can count on one hand the number of times i've seen Texas come out for an opener clicking on all cylinders.
Texas should win, probably comfortably, but 24 might be a stretch.
Wouldn't say in trouble, but there's no question the secondary's giving up way too many plays. They're young, it's not a complete surprise for the first game, but it's definitely an area that's going to have to improve.
