We're rated too high if you look at our last three games. We haven't been a Top 25 team, let alone a Top 20 team.

I think that some of the ranking can be attributed to the presence of coach G.

Maybe, just maybe this is where we belong right now. It should give the ladies some incentive to work harder to get back up in the polls.

I agree. I think that we were ranked considerably higher than we should have been earlier in the season. I would say that we are at top 20 team but I don't think we are yet a team that will consistently stay in the top 10...this year. I think that part of the rebuilding process involves coach G bringing in players who can match her intensity game in and game out, and I don't see that with the current roster.

These posts are all correct. Had we started the season where we SHOULD have been in the polls, we wouldn't have had to go through all of this disappointment with dropping.

Coach G's rebuilding process will definitely take some time. I guess we were all hoping for too much too soon, especially with how the team started the season. How quickly we forget how tough the Big 12 is (especially on the road).

Still, we need to give the team our support...keep showing up for the games, bring friends, get the word out, and let's fill the FEC for our big home games!! We're going to need 'em!!!

This is still a good team that will do its share of damage. We are going to have some ups and downs but hopefully we are playing for March, much like Tennessee seems to do every year. It's all about the final product.

AMEN! We are exactly 2 months away from the Big 12 tournament with 15 conference games on the way there. We need to show up for the rest of these games and march on to the NCAA tournament with some stamina and TX pride!!
