Texans Ticket Holders Mad

It seems that season ticket holders are pissed off at all the trash that show up to tailgate and that don't have tickets for the game. They have voiced their complaints with the Texans. Some "fans" just want to get drunk, shout obscenities, and fight

Yes, the "trash" that showed up to the game was, more than likely, in the form of Cowboys fans.

As a season ticket-holder and Blue Lot parker . . . good riddance. I haven't witnessed any fights, but the amount of "trash" has certainly gone up. I've never brought anyone with me that didn't go into the game, nor do I have any desire to. I'd just as soon these people can go back to their picnics at Walmart on Sundays.

I'm also a season ticket holder with a yellow lot parking pass. We didn't go to the Cowboys game but things have been out of control for quite some time as far as the tailgatting goes. We no longer walk through the parking lot with our boys anymore (7 &10) and instead walk to the side exit and get out as quick as we can to get to the stadium. From what we've witnessed, tailgatting at Texans games is not a family friendly environment.

Kudos to the entire Texans organization for taking on the elephant in the room. We have gone to more than a few Texans games and this video is indicative of what you'll see every Sunday. Maybe not the fights, but not far from it. Imagine the cluster that's going to be there off Kirby or Fannin once these guys show up and are not allowed access into the parking lot. Good luck with that, but it did need to be addressed. Seriously, if you don't have a ticket, call friends over and party at your house. Everyone else is taking up needed space and creating traffic problems that should never be. This should make anyone's next experience at Reliant a much more relaxed one.

Do you seriously think that every car and every passenger is going to be policed as they enter the stadium parking areas? Really? The stadium security is going to insure that everyone is a ticketholder?

This is just so that they can have a reason to kick you out for bad behavior.

I wish they'd do this **** for Horns games. 5 years ago in Lots 80/99 you'd see families out there, with little kids in Horns jerseys throwing footballs around. Now it's a bunch of ******* douchebags with no connection at all to UT and their shitbag tailgates with multiple sponsors (Cover 3 tailgate, I'm looking at you) and a bunch of 50 year olds getting hammered on Jello-O shots and not giving a **** about the game....

If they'd outlaw 'tailgating' in the UT lots once the game starts, they'd clear out all of these ******* idiots. Good riddance to all you ********; same brand of dickheads who show up at 9PM on Friday night to set up their professionally catetered tailgate for the one time a year they care to show up...

The day LF parking passes quit being first-come, first-serve was the day the tailgate scene went south...

"Do you really think that everyone that enters the parking lot will be checked for a ticket"?...Read the memo...Beginning with the team’s next home game against the New York Giants on October 10, the Texans and Reliant Park will require all fans who wish to enter the Reliant Park grounds to possess a game ticket or other valid team issued credential.
