"Our only hope for the season now is for Covid to shut it down before it gets too ugly."

I suspect that a number of teams may feel the same way.

Yup, you can see aggy "mindset" already settling in to another mediocre season...

Perhaps 5-5, 6-4?

It looks like they have a shot at beating LSU at Collie Station only to be balanced with the knowledge that the pirate circled 17 Oct in Starkville on his calendar as soon as the revised schedules came out. Also, Mississippi on 21 November will be a push despite playing at Pyle.

. perhaps 6-4? Best case 7-3.
Thank God I'm not a betting man but I see Aggie going 4-6 with losses to Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi State in resounding fashion. After Covid defections and reworks blamed on Covid and getting ready for next year, ags lose to AT Least 3 of Arkansas, Mississippi, Tenessee, uSC, LSU and Auburn. All of the remaining 6 could win including Arkansas who played pretty inspired football yesterday as did Miss. and uSC despite losses. Even if they lose 2 of the remainder (5-5)

We are in uncharted waters because usually this time of year Aggie is 4-0 with wins over TSU, PVAM, Sul Ross and a close one against Vandy (all at home) with lots of ENTHUSIASM. Covid and THE PIRATE will flip them to 1-3 with 6 teams TO GO that could beat them and who are unconcerned with Mond or Jimbo's 2 million per win contract.

Jimbo is not The Pirate.

Ole Miss looked pretty solid.

I agree and I watched some of all the SEC games on TV. MSU, MISS., uSC, Auburn all looked pretty good . Arkansas looked better than usual (looked like they cared) but Georgia, I don't feel they are a top 4 team. Tennessee played well and I think LSU had no answer for The Pirate and was out coached. Other than QBs, the talent gap was not there.

Ya know watching our woke guys performance then thinking about Mond, who is also woke, maybevggetes something to the aspect of being distracted. Just thinking out loud and trying to find some explanation to our often erratic performance and then probably making more out of Sams interview comments than Is really there.
