Welp... what can you say? In my view, he should get the job. He stabilized a sinking ship and not only brought it to port, but he did it like a cruise ship, party and all. What else can the man do?

If you disagree, then I'm thinking you're tempted (as am I at times) by a big name. To get a Calipari is very sexy. But sometimes it's right in front of you. But we've not won the Big 12 tournament and March Madness has not begun. It'd take a big flame-out for me to change my mind. My expectation is a sweet sixteen berth at a minimum with clear evidence that this team is well coached. If we lose in the first round then things get dicey. There's always reason for wins and losses. But this team should not have a reason for losing. It should be a winner and our coach is a big reason why.

I don't want a Calipari type. I'd really prefer an Eric Musselman type.

I think he's a good coach. A good recruiter, a good team builder, and a good in-game coach.

Nothing against Terry. But if I had a shot at who I'd want most now, it's Musselman.

Interesting that he is not the Big 12 Coy. Terry did a good job. He took a team projected to finish in the top 3 in the conference and kept them at that level. The only disappointment really was the three poor performances at sand aggy bailor and froggy when the regular season championship was within their grasp.

Just include contractual wording against marrying his brother’s wife, turning the program over to his son in his absence, and using a master/slave scripture reference when talking to players and Terry should be fine. Tech’s legal and HR departments really dropped the ball in this regard.
