Terrence Rencher

This may have been mentioned before, but I learned today that former Longhorn basketball great Terrence Rencher is now the senior graduate assistant to coach Rick Majerus at St. Louis University. I came by this bit of info while talking to Dexter Cambridge today at the Longhorn Foundation Advisory Council lunch.

Cambridge also played for UT in the early 90's and is now back in school working on his degree. DeJuan "Chico" Vazquez was also at the lunch - he too is back on campus working towards his degree. Current player Connor Atchley was on hand, and is looking forward to being part of a very strong rotation among the "bigs" - he said Dexter Pittman in particular is looking very good. As for the NBA, yes, he thinks he has a shot and would like to give it a go.

Wow, who'd thunk that when Connor got to campus? He has come a long way.

Conner did well last year and should improve to being a double digit scorer and increase his rebounding to 6-9 per game. If he added some guns/ attitude he may jump up to a double/double guy and be a force inside and outside. I would love to see conner slash to the basket more often this year.

Great news about Rencher. He is one of my all time favorite horn basketball players.

Yes nice for Conner to get props but that mock draft was nothing short of bizarre.
By the way, are Damion James and Tyler Hansborough the same height and within 10 or so pounds same weight????
