NCAA brackets and top 16 seeds are going to be announced today and our women improved to #16 in the latest ITA poll released yesterday. Last year the top 16 teams in the rankings also ended up as the top 16 seeds, with just a few teams flip floppiing in the bracket (#8 team being seeded 9th). So it looks like our women's hard work and continued improvement has paid off and they could very well end up seeded in the upcoming NCAA tournament. Best of luck to the squad in post season play!

Would be nice to see a deep run by both teams. The men certainly have final four talent and although UVA looks mighty tough a national championship is not out of the question.

Women get seeded 16 but have to play in Norman. They would get #1 Baylor if the advance out of Norman.

We should make it out of Norman and I am fine with a final 16 matchup with Baylor. There are actually other top teams that I think might have been tougher matchups for us and we're certainly overdue for a victory vs. the Bears...let's hope the third time is the charm!

A&M has a much easier time with #6 Northwestern who we have beat before!!!!

Congrats to the women on their 4-0 first round win....Wichita State played a good match and took four of six singles matches to 3 sets, so definitely nice to close it out so convincingly. Arkansas is going to be a tough opponent today so hopefully the Horns will get a lot of support and pull out the win. The Horns are ranked 16th and the Razorbacks 24th, but we were at #36 a little over a month ago so this should be an evenly matched contest. Arkansas actually beat TCU 5-2 this season, a team we lost to 4-3, and they took out Oklahoma State 7-0 while we beat the Cowgirls 5-2. We both beat OU by identical 6-1 scores during the regular season. Of course they lost to A&M 4-3 and we beat the Ags 5-2. Arkansas has a couple of players and a doubles squad in the ITA rankings whereas the Horns have three players and one doubles team ranked; both squads feature a top 30 player so No. 1 singles should be a good matchup. Hopefully recent form will be enough to put the Horns into the final 16 of NCAA play. Good luck to the squad today!!
