Totally agree. In 2005 USC decided all they had to do is control Vince. The problem they had was they overlooked Vince's passing ability (which by then even with the funlky delivery was very good for a college QB). After he killed them passing they started guessing, and the rest is lore.

Alabama will look at ou, CU and NU and quickly see that if they take Ship out of the equation, game over. That, as with ou, CU and NU, will be their critical mistake. Tre very well could end up being the MVP of the game (as much for his blitz pick-ups as his rushing for over 100 yards).

Taking Jordan out of the game did nothing for our run game against OU or NU. What makes you think it will be different against Bama?

Yes, they do. Alabama's front 4 is their defensive weakness but they make up for it with possibly the best group of LBs in the nation. Somewhat the reverse of Nebraska's defense.

Just like Nebraska or any other defense we will face in this offensvie scheme.

If the defense can bring pressure with only four and keep 7 in coverage we are boned. If we make them bring extra people to get pressure we bone them.

Football is not rocket science I have been coaching it for fifteen years and am amazed at how hard some people want to make it.
