Well, due to a variety of factors, it looks like we have to cancel our August trip to Greece. BUT... we're 95% sure we're going to the Canary Islands in May. Anyone been? Suggestions? We will probably fly into Tenerife and stay there.

If you have a little extra time, you could go to Gomera. We were looking for something more remote, so we caught a ferry to Gomera from Gran Tenerife and spent our time there. It was very nice.
