Tell me about Voom

Anybody have it? What are your thoughts?

I just got an HDTV and am going through a nightmare of biblical proportions with Time Warner. It started with me not getting all the HD channels I'm supposed to, moved to me losing some of my movie channels on all my tvs and ended up with needing a tech to come out because some monkey in their tech department seriously screwed something up that they either can't or won't fix without coming to my house.

Anyway, I'm just exploring my options in case I can't get ALL of my issues with TW resolved. I don't even know if Voom is satellite or cable based (their website blows if you want basic info), but I like what I've heard about their programming (ESPNHD especially). Anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks.

Even though here at hornfans you may get an opinion from somebody you may trust. The Link is still the best place to ge an opinion.

Back when I was going to get an HDTV voom looked very attractive, the only downside is something common to all providers, there is no way yet to connect and use a HTPC as a Tivo like device.

Edit more specifically go hereThe Link

i want it bad. I was watching monday night football tonight and the damn picture kept pixelating (Charter in Fort Worth). And to top it off they dont carry CBS HD.
