I came across this rather disgusting story about kids gone wild and their parents refusal to hold them accountable for their actions. And now the parents are threatening to sue the victim? Pretty sad really.

To be fair to some of the parents, Holloway posted the identities of kids who didn't even attend the party; they just retweeted other kids' posts. Imagine going for an entry level job interview and the employer does a google search, showing you as a perp at a drunken invasion party.

I found it interesting that he tried to mediate the matter by getting the kids responsible to come and help with the cleanup, but none showed up. I guarantee that if my son had been involved he would have been the first to show up and the last to leave.

Bad story. Holloway sounds like a good guy. He just needs to file charges against the kids.

I agree he needs to file charges. Seems like he is trying to let the parents of the kids do the right thing before pushing it in court. He is much nicer than I would be after the parents didn't immediatly step up.

That's kind of my point... some of the kids whose names he posted weren't at the party... they were just retweeting other kids' comments about the party itself. Their lives don't deserve to be ruined because they were commenting about it.
