Tech v Kansas - OUCH!!

Well as bad as it feels to be the team who lost to Tech right after and before their worst losses in school history, it must feel worse to be Tech right now. For those who haven't yet checked the box score here are some of the highlights:
Kansas more than doubled up Tech - 51-109
Kansas had 15 players score points
Kansas more than doubled up on rebounds 21-50
Kansas shot almost 60% from the field and behind the arc
And finally Tech can now consider their fleeting bubble hopes officially burst

So, Tech loses on the road to aggie and Jayhawks by a combined score of 44+58 ... need my iMac "Dashboard" calculator... no wait, think I'll set up a forumula in Excel... no, got a better idea for this, I know someone over at the JJ Pickle Research Ctr and can get a few nanoseconds of computing time tonight. Should do it.

I'll approximate it to just over 100 pts, plus or minus a field goal. Call it 102 points.

And we let them score 83.

Yes. That does suck a lot. But right now it is nice to know that as low as we feel collectively for that performance the victors did not have long to celebrate. It is also nice since it will keep the incessantly bitchy sand aggies that I work with quiet this week.

that was domination along the lines of 77-0. COMPLETELY outclassed from talent to effort to depth.... everything. what a waste of resources for tech to even make that trip up there.

true, but aggy and kansas both lost the last games they played at tech, just like we did. not that that should make any of us feel better for having lost.
