Starting with the 2001-02 season, Texas is 2-7 at Lubbock. In Austin, Horns are 8-1 vs Tech. Before the 95-90 double overtime win last season, the Horns had lost six straight games in Lubbock. Wednesday, Texas heads back to Lubbock as they look to win two straight games in Lubbock, something they have not done since the 1989-90 and 1990-91 seasons when they won in Lubbock each season. Of course those were the last two seasons that Texas swept both games against Tech. Tech did win for the first time ever later in the 1990-91 season, defeating Texas 63-61 in the conference tournament. Texas leads the series which started in 1977 58-25. Starting with the 1990-91 season, Tech leads the series 25-23. At Texas, Coach G is 5-2 against Tech with both losses coming in Lubbock. Texas is on a three game winning streak against Tech as they head to Lubbock next week.

At Texas, yeah. I hate to admit it, but she's 7-2 all-time against Tech.
GG coached Duke to wins over Tech in their two meetings, Nov. 2001 at Duke and again in the 2003 Regional Finals.

We are going to have to overcome a LOT to win in Lubbock tomorrow night!

The crowd is raucous, the venue deafening, and the refs are usually very lopsided in calling the game...

Tech is pretty good this year...better than last year, and we had a double overtime win last year...yikes!

We need to get out in front early, and PRESS, TRAP and RUN!!!

I hope to God we hit our free throws and rebound better!!

As a team, I would like to see sum energy and hustle on the floor at all times. Not just 1 half.But that mean she would have to play more players too.And not just 7 players with uneven minutes either.Please ride the players that are hot against TT too.
