The semi-final between this Dream (On) Team and Argentina should be very interesting. Especially after the physical play in their last game.

As long as nobody punches anybody else in the nads this time, it should be a good game, but USA should win this 49 times out of 50. They are too good and too deep. Argentina asks too much of Manu Ginobili at this point in his career.

They can be pretty streaky, but so far when they've been pushed they have responded in an impressive manner.

I've never been a big LeBron James fan, even though I have always admired his abilities, but his passing in these Olympics reminds me of a former "Magical" player from days gone by. He makes seemingly impossible passes look easy. First triple double in Olympic history. I am impressed.

And of course KD shooting 60+% from the arc doesn't hurt.

Two things that befuddled me today:

1. Spain's ability to conjure up a collective out-of-body performance against the USA in two gold medal contests in a row.

2. The officials' utter inability to swallow their whistles at all in said gold medal contests.
