Zarrian Holcombe ..... Summer Creek (Humble, TX)
3-star ..... TE ..... 6-5/215 ..... aggy

Holcombe was chosen as the Receiver MVP of the Next Level Athlete Showcase in Houston (Jan, 2015).

Per Scout:
Holcombe is a full grown receiver prospect who is silky smooth and has great hands. He's a big, athletic, versatile player who will likely be a flex tight end or big outside receiver. Holcombe is too big and too fast for linebackers to cover.

Per 247Sports:
At 6-foot-5, 215 pounds, Holcombe is a versatile tight end with soft hands.

Per a poster on another site:
The 6-foot-5 [aggy] commit is exactly what you want in the new age TE. He can hold a block, or flex out and turn into a WR. He's also a mismatch in the redzone. I didn't get much from Holcomb other than I don't think he's feeling the Longhorns. I could've read this one wrong, but the Humble Summer Creek star might be made for College Station.

Inside Texas saying TE Zarrian Holcombe was dropped by aggy because of consistent behavioral problems at school.

They don't expect UT to get involved, but they confirmed the staff is still going hard after TE Irvin Smith.

Smith may attend the Kansas game next weekend with his teammate, TE Peyton Aucoin, and he's said he'll definitely take an official to UT with Aucoin.
