TCU vs Oklahoma - the sequel

If OU loses and ends up 11-2, being passed over for an 11-2 Ohio State team that they beat would be both stupid and karmic justice.

OSU beating Wisconsin by 50+ again won't be enough. OU wins they're in. SEC winner is in. And if it's Auburn then a great chance for 'bama. In that scenario no way OSU goes ahead of them. Clemson in with a win and Miami is possible with the upset.

Sorry, LaDainian but 'Fear the Frog' sounds more laughable than intimidating.

As much as I hate OU success, I hate the SEC/Alabama/tOSU bias. I am rooting for OU and Wisconsin today in order to keep those two teams out of the playoffs.

The SEC and ACC championship game winners make it in no matter who wins. If OU or Wisconsin lose, gives the committee a reason to put Alabama in.

I don't care what someone's record is, but how do you justify putting a non-conference winner into a playoff for the national championship? The conference championship is a mini-playoff in of itself. If you can't win your conference, you don't deserve a chance at the National Championship.

I get that, but when will we learn nothing good ever comes from an OU victory?

I wonder if this is all Baker or if Lincoln Riley is just that good. Oklahoma made a seamless transition from a legendary coach to their next one who was groomed and T'd up ready for launch. Why is that so hard to do?

I think it’s all Lincoln, kyler Murray will be just as dynamic next year as Baker is but the moment Riley stops calling the plays we will see what he is all about as a HC

If Lincoln continues as play-caller/defacto OC then it kind of dovetails into my theory that stability is achieved at the HC position by having a great OC or DC who brings that system/talent/knowledge to the team so you're not chasing systems around like Mack appeared to be doing. I thought that's what we got with the Strong hire on defense and Herman on offense.

You gotta hand it to them. They didn't go out and spend $75 million on a splashy hire like Aggy. They just reload and go.

Man, went to garage to cut some floorboards and Bam! TCU making a game of it.

I'm going back to the garage!

I know. And they aren't handcuffed with a buy-out that would reach critical mass with A&M. Imagine if it turns into another Franchione or Sherman situation three years in. We can only hope.
