TCU wide receiver KaVontae Turpin was arrested Sunday for assault with bodily injury of a family member.

“Texas Christian University is aware that one of its students was recently arrested for a reported domestic situation,” TCU said in a statement. “The university takes these types of reports very seriously and is continuing to gather information to determine next steps. TCU expects its students to behave in an ethical manner, abide by campus policies and adhere to state and federal law.

After all of the chances they gave Pachall and Boykin, it's hard to imagine they'd kick him off the team or anything.

Probably no big deal in reality but in this day and age we all live under the microscope especially if it's a first incident.

Are you talking about the New Mexico incident or the parking lot incident from last weekend?

New Mexico: "Turpin grabbed the woman’s arms, causing them to bruise, and also ripped her shirt. Turpin also slammed the woman’s cell phone on the counter, breaking the screen, and punched a hole in a door."

Last Weekend: "A witness described Turpin as manhandling Atwater when he dragged her across the parking lot, grabbing her from behind with one arm across her neck."

No big deal, though.

Seems like an amazing number of top athletes have abused women when the consequences are through the roof. Bad values combined with bad temper is costing these guy 10s of millions. And that's a good thing.
