TCU fan smack talks Longhorns

Patterson is irate after the SMU game. claims that SMU planting their flag at midfield was planned and that an SMU player hit TCU coach, Kill, in the head with a helmet.

I wonder if this is a distraction for them or motivation (i think distraction)

Dallas morning news article (snippets below)
Patterson, in essence, doubled down on his accusation that an unknown SMU player hit TCU assistant Jerry Kill with a helmet in a postgame scuffle after Saturday’s game, adding that Kill had sustained a concussion. Multiple videos from after the game seem to show Kill being trampled by multiple TCU players in one incident, though Patterson — without video proof — alluded to a second time Kill was hit.

“While Coach Patterson acknowledged that his postgame claim cannot be substantiated, he accused our program, multiple times, of planning to plant our flag on the field following our win. This is a complete fabrication,” Hart’s statement said. “I can state unequivocally that there was no such plan. He points to the presence of members of our creative staff on the field as evidence. We had numerous videographers and photographers on the field during and after the game and they were simply following any number of players and staff to document the win for our ESPN+ series, ‘The Hilltop.’”

Texas 1996-2010 : Nebraska 1996-2010 :: TCU 2012-2020 : Texas 2012-2020

She isn't wrong but I'd hate to be representing a nonrevenue sport at TCU and a state legislator points out football as the measuring stick for success (or lack thereof).

I get the point you're attempting to make, but the reason it's not valid is that Texas has only played Nebraska a total of 14 times. Texas has played TCU a total of 91 times. The frog Senator must have learned the tactic of parsing dates from some of her aggy colleagues.

So you're telling me someone tried to kill kill?? Man that's just crazy.

Hmmmmm. Church school football games are starting to sound a lot like Church league softball games...

Well that ^ escalated quickly. And they ran out of gas quickly too. Devolved from a brawl into a bunch of fat guys laying around in the dirt trying to catch their breath in record time.

Yeah, looks like both softball teams’ respective S&C coaches are long on strength training and short on conditioning.

I am hoping Sark does to the Toads what Royal did to them in the mid ‘70s . . . 81-21 or something like that. It’s time for the worm to turn in the rivalry and close out the annual series with solid, no mercy thrashings of TCU. I hope we see the “all gas, no brakes” in full swing come Saturday.

And at the end of the game take Bevo to midfield to take a good, runny s**t.

Someone told me that TCU in the last 9 years is 0-9 the week prior to the Texas game. Even though they’ve won almost all of them against us.
Of course, I also heard that time was a flat circle.

I am hoping that we have at least a one point victory over the toads

Time is...the earth is not.

From the floor of the Texas Senate:

I actually just left her a voicemail.
Asked if she attended the game, if she enjoyed it and wished her luck in the new non P5 conference.
I was respectful, but politicians have bigger fish to fry in my opinion.

Did someone remind this daft Republican that Texas is 64–27–1 all time against TCU? Frog fans really only seem to care about the last nine years. It reminds me of the decade from about 85-95 when aggy was beating us regularly and no other games in the series mattered -- only those 10 years.
