tax breaks for companies to return jobs to USA?

This idea may be more to the center from a conservative point of view, but I actually like this. I've always supported ending/reducing tax breaks for companies sending jobs overseas.

I do not think we ever "gave" tax breaks to companies to move jobs overseas.
The tax breaks they received was a result of less revenue generated here.

I think it was paul ryan who suggested offering tax breaks on revenue moved back here on a one time basis. I would be ok with that

I would also be ok with giving actual tax breaks for companies who bring jobs back. It would have to be meaningful enough for companies to shut down overseas operations a dn start up operations here.
some companies have already done this, especially with call centers

This game is not nearly as fun, or productive, if you can't take the time to read the posts.

What the op said was that tax breaks should be reduced/eliminated for those companies who have sent jobs overseas, presumably as punishment for the loss of those US jobs. He did not say that the US gave those companies tax breaks because they (the cos) moved the jobs oversees.

It's lack of reading comprehension like this that makes intelligent argument so futile on this board, but it also leads to some humor.

so after lwoing some 5 trillion deficit dollars on **** that doesn't work, and with over half the country thinking he sucks *** as potus and leader, he finally discovers somethign that might actually work. imagine that.

Horn, I never implied that companies were given tax breaks for sending jobs overseas. I just want to see their tax breaks eliminated if they continue to pursue offshore employment. Sure, that's not very conservative of me, but it's one issue i'm more centrist on.
