There was a thread on the On the Field board about this kid, a QB from Arizona that is supposedly being recruited vigorously by Harsin right now.

Seems the thread needs to be on this board, where maybe a recruiting savy hornfan can pick this story up and shed some light on it.

So, go for it recruiting savy hornfans. We are hungry for info, especially if this kid, a JC stud, could help us next year.

From what i've read, McEvoy has said the visit with Harsin yesterday went really well. Harsin talked X's and O's with him for a bit, met with his coach and picked up additional film. An offer wasn't extended at that time which makes sense. I'd think they'd want to make sure he can transfer in mid term without any issues before they extend the offer. There are a couple other schools that are coming after him but none are seen as a real threat. those close to him are saying that if Texas extends an offer he's all over it. I've seen reports that Mack will be visiting his parents in New Jersey within the next week so hopefully we'll get more information on that as well as a date for an official visit.

McEvoy's highlights were impressive. He has a cannon arm and very good quickness. He would be an upgrade.
