Tallin vs. Riga

I'm about to head out on a 2 week trip to Europe. Have some obligations in Copenhagen and then flying out of Stockholm about 6 days later. Trying to decide what to do in the interim. Would like to stay in Scandinavia/north of Copenhagen. Thought about catching a flight to Tallin or Riga before heading to Stockholm. Has anyone been to either of the cities? Worth the visit? Thanks!

I liked Riga better than Vilnius or Tallin. Tallin is a close 2nd though, you can't go wrong visiting either place. If you go to Riga, go to the Balsam bar and have a few Balsam cocktails...

Copenhagen was nice but insanely pricey. I really wanted to visit Tallin but didn't have enough time, for that reason alone I think you should go there.

I've been to Talinn several times when I lived in Finland. If you've got just 2 days, I think you can easily visit all the historic crap in Talinn, and then take the ferry to Helsinki (drinking lots of booze on the way, naturally) and see most of the stuff in Helsinki on day 2.
