I gave up trying to apply logic to much of the Middle East a long time ago, but it still amazes me sometimes the things they do.

The Taliban killed a bunch of Pakistani military recruits in a suicide bombing. Yet, amazingly, there does not seem to be a massive out pouring of Pakistanis calling for their govt/military to wipe out the Taliban. Why? Some Middle Easterners are actually blaming the US for the recent attacks.

The Taliban is killing their own countrymen!!! The Pakistanis absolutely know where most of these Taliban are. Why do the people not scream for a scorched earth reprisal against the Taliban?

I read that but couldn't believe it.I guess they showed us , killing so many of their own.

Is this the same Taliban Obama says can be part of an Afghan government?
 
so the "proper burial" was not sensitive enough. good thing those photos were not released, so people could have been killed. oh wait
 
mystery to me, as well.

OBL is dead. I think the photo decision was fine. Releasing them is not going to make him any 'deader'.
 
I think this validates Mr. Obama's

decision to just kill his ***, dump him in the ocean and not release the photos. Those nut jobs are going to do what they do no matter what we think we can do to placate them.
 
Agree that releasing the photos would not help anything. Not sure it would hurt, either, but who knows, maybe it might. Crazy is crazy. Not sure what you can do about it.

Seems like a nice color photo of Osama bin Laden's brains outside the protective covering of his skull might just cause a few fence-sitters to think twice about jihad.
 
Maybe those people just like to blow **** up. Living in the middle east has to be boring, but explosions are exciting.
 
I just wish they would come out and fight like men instead of this random, secretive bomb/terror crap. come to this country and do that crap. I'll be waiting.
 
General, don't you see. This is precisely why they stay off our soil. They know tough guys like you are waiting.

Heck, there are suicide bombings all the time, they just happen to blame these on OBL's death. They would have done them whether or not OBL was killed. It is what they do.

Just amazing they do it to their own people.

Someone mentioned fear of reprisal, and maybe that is part of it. Incredibly sad if the citizens hate the practice but have just become immune to it.

Would be interesting to see how much America is really "hated" in the ME if we can perfect the natural gas to liquid process and then just leave the entire region once and for all. My guess is that the average citizen would be crying for us to come back.
 
The leaders of the radical islamic movement are sitting in their nice residences, watching porn and tv while they convince low self esteem groupies to blow themselves up. i appreciate that obama pulled off his execution of obl, i just wish he had the balls to do it to the other captives in cuba.

By applying Obama's 'jobs saved by stimulus' logic now to the 'for the elite only' Obama double tap photos, how many lives will Obama have counted as saved now that 80 have died?
