Talent depth for Texas 2010

Here is a quick look at what we have left from our 06-09 classes going into 2010:

2006 (25):
Gone (14) - (Kindle, Snead, Webb, Beasley, Houston, Burnette, Joseph, Webber, Alexander, Ellis, Henry, Marshall, Lawrence, Watts)

**This class had as much attrition as any class Texas has had over the year. Add to that the fact that 4-5 players that remain aren't big contributors due to their talent level. Some top talent has graduated but in the end this class did not live up to the early high expectations.

2007: 18/24 remain (2 five star, 12 four star)
2008: 17/20 remain (0 five star, 10 four star)
2009: 19/20 remain (3 five star, 10 four star)
Total: 65/89 remain (6 five star, 36 four star)...73% remain

*73% of the last 4 classes are still on campus and that includes the losses of players graduating or leaving to NFL early. Thus our true attrition rate is much lower.

*There is a bunch of talent from the last 3 classes returning in 2010. Add to this the great incoming 2010 class of which at least 5-10 players will play as true frosh. This will be a big of a younger team but one tha this is not short on talent.
