TAG Returns

While I'm not a fan of Josh Lewin calling his partner "Tag" (how hard is it to call him by his name Tom?), I am a big fan of the man named Tom Grieve.

As a victim of prostate cancer two years ago and being the same age as Grieve, I was hoping, but was pretty sure, that he would speak out about what men need to do to catch prostate cancer in the early stages.

And he didn't waste any time. 2nd inning he acknowledged his doctors, who as it turned out he had the same surgeon I did, and then proceeded to tell how important it is for men to have annual physicals including blood tests that includes having the PSA checked. In the early stages of prostate cancer there are usually no symptoms - thus the PSA test is THE way to determine if you have it.

If anyone remembers Rudy Jaramillio had prostate cancer two years ago and he was out well over a month versus 2+ weeks for Grieve. That's because Grieve used the latest "robotic" technology (a large machine that is laproscopic in nature) as opposed to Jaramillio using the older traditional "full incision" surgery.

At any rate it's great to see Grieve back and in good spirits and ready to do his part to bring the Rangers home the rest of the way!

Glad to hear he's back, which means that Victor "I'm so boring that I belong in the Astros booth" Rojas will return to radio where he belongs.

Good to see TAG back so quickly. Also good to see him expound on the PSA test. I see my urologist once a year as part of my annual physical, and the PSA is a very important test. Guys, don't neglect this.

I love it when Tag gets upset ie Sexton fight or fatass getting kicked off the team. He gets so worked up then spends the rest of the game apologizing for speaking the truth.
