Discovered this morning-there are two locations, locally owned, one on Spyglass, I think, and the other on MoPac near North Austin Medical Center.
This place is great for breakfast tacos and coffee. Lunch specials sound excellent, different each day.
Anyone been there, what did you like?

my office orders a couple dozen breakfast tacos from there once a week, delivered. i always confiscate the 2-3 dozen containers of the salsa they deliver and take them home.

really good tacos, good breakfast tacos, i've heard the soup is really good too but havent tried it. the only thing i dont like is if you order a bean and cheese, they bring you black beans, yuk. no pintos. that's a problem. i don't know why i don't eat there more

Very good salsas, good breakfast tacos, decent tacos, although they tend to be a bit light on the flavor (without salsa). They seem to use quality ingredients, though. I visit once a month or more.

Their dona sauce is absolutely fantastic. Love it on the Al Pastor tacos. (Not sure who Al is. :/ )

If their Dona Sauce is that thick green stuff, then yes, it's the tits. It's almost like avocado wasabi.

Tacodeli is one thing I really miss after we moved from that area. I'm a big fan of the El Popeye, add bacon, wheat tortilla. Also the Picadillo.
The whipped papas are awesome too--I think they're whipped with cheese, cream and maybe a little crack...

Damn, I miss that place.

Great breakfast tacos, and nice eye candy on Sunday mornings at the Spyglass location!!!

we used to live in the Spyglass apartments around the corner and up the hill. what a great place to live...right on the greenbelt, taco deli, easy to get to downtown/campus.

taco deli is solid...but i'm not that big a fan of mashed potatoes in my breakfast taco. taters need to be fried, or not in there, IMO.
