TABC Clinic

I know that Coach Aston was a speaker at the TABC clinic in San Antonio, I have a quote that Karen said, "one of the reasons I am honored to coach at The University of Texas is because I get to represent the great high school basketball coaches in our state."

I think that she is on the right track about reconnecting with the Texas High School coaches again, and the crowd seemed very excited in hearing her speak, and also was very interested and involved in her basketball presentation.

I heard her speak at the clinic as well - she did a geat job - one can tell by her tone she has her work cut out - she is definitely going all out to restore the pride and tradition - you could sense she's not all that pleased with the level of play right now - karen is a great recruiter and knows her stuff - hopefully we can win enough this next year to get the kids to take some notice that things are turning around

Nope, Texas Association of Basketball Coaches, I think you were off on your initials

I was very impressed how she caught the attention of the crowd with her basketball knowledge. I believe it was the most questions and crowd response that I had seen.

I think she catches people off guard with her sense of humor, but she cracked a couple good jokes in there too... I liked getting to see her in that light
