sxsw film: pass worth it?

i'm going to try to make more of an effort to see movies at sxsw this year. in the past, i've just bought tickets at the door for screenings i wanted to attend. i've been shut out of about 50% of the ones i tried to go to.

i'll probably be going to about 5-6 movies between friday and wednesday (when the focus shifts to music and basketball). for those who have bought the film pass (the $70 one, not the badge) in the past, have you been able to get into most of the screenings that you wanted to get into?

The only option I saw was the 300 dollar badge or whatever. Is there a cheaper option? I really just want to see the Slammin Salmon. There are a few more I wouldn't mind watching but if there was a more cost effective way to seeing just a few movies I would love to know.
